Olympic Candidate City

    This project took a lot of time to develop, I have been inspired by Italian art before in the past including Italian architecture, paintings, movements and more, so combining this idea with the olympics excited me.The Olympics holds a place in my heart because it was a family tradition. At my household we would always sit around the TV and wait to watch our favorites in the Olympic Sprinting event which Jamaica was known for winning often. So, I challenged myself to try and design banners, tickets, and deliverables that fit Rome’s top winning Events. Inspired by one of my favorite modernist movements, Dynamism, also made in Italy, and using simple shapes to create illustration followed by a series of merch that would be advertised with the tickets and banners.

My overall objective was to choose a city to research and develop an understanding of to design a system of deliverables as if they were applying for the next Summer Olympics. To which I think I was decently successful in doing. However I do feel as if this is something I could return to in order to make a more successful logo and clothing design.
